You asked for more info about Lynda, so here you are!
As a kid, Lynda read Greek mythology instead of Nancy Drew, was convinced there was a body in the trunk in the basement and made up stories about everything from unexplained footsteps in the driveway to a neighbor with a ponderous chin and a penchant for magic.
Nothing and no one was safe from the over developed imagination of the girl at 53 Doncaster Avenue.
Later, she majored in English, took countless workshops and spent unknown sums on writing courses, knowing this was what she wanted to do, but it wasnt until she discovered Romance Novels that she knew exactly what kind of novels she wanted to write. You see, it doesnt matter if youre male or female, black or white, gay or straight, the human need for love, to touch and be touched is as basic as the need to eat or sleep or drink. Romance Novels not only acknowledge this fact, they celebrate it, and that was where Lynda found her niche.
After twenty-three years of marriage, two kids and a steady stream of stray cats, she knows that happy endings are indeed possible - providing you keep a sense of humor. A separate office doesnt hurt either, and thats where she goes to write the kind of romantic comedy she loves. Stories where heart and soul go hand in hand with a darn good laugh and an unabashedly happy ending.
When shes not writing, she teaches FictionWriting and Crafting a Novel at Sheridan College and gives serious thought to using the treadmill in her basement. Fortunately, shes found that if she waits long enough, something urgent will pop up and save her - like a phone call or e-mail, or a whistling kettle. Cant just let it boil dry now, can you? Would you like milk or lemon with that?
